About Us
Over the past several years, we’ve seen the world of education and work shift in meaningful ways. As college tuition continues to rise and outcomes become less certain, many students are unaware of the strong, fulfilling careers available through the skilled trades.
Our goal was to create a program that broadens students’ perspectives - giving them exposure to a wide range of trades and hands-on experiences, and helping them understand that success can take many different forms.
In our own business, we noticed that about one in five young people came in with the skills and readiness needed to succeed right away. Rather than seeing this as a shortcoming, we saw it as an opportunity. By intentionally teaching work ethic, responsibility, and the values that make someone a great employee, we can help more kids start their careers prepared, confident, and positioned for long-term success in both work and life.
We believe the skilled trades are honorable, valuable, and offer real paths to purpose, stability, and pride in one’s work.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high school students opportunities to explore the skilled trades as viable career paths, instill the values essential for success in both business and life, and teach practical, hands-on skills that benefit individuals regardless of the path they choose.
Our Vision
Our vision is a generation of young people who are confident, capable, and prepared - equipped with practical skills, strong values, and a clear understanding of the many paths available to build meaningful, successful lives.

Our Team
Hello, I'm Blake Haan. Founder & Executive Director
I’m a father of seven and a grandfather of six, and working with kids has been a constant thread through my life. Over the years I’ve been a teacher, coach, youth group leader, Sunday school teacher, foster parent, employer - and most importantly, a dad.
At this stage of life, I’m winding down my own career and putting my full focus into investing in the next generation. I’m building programs for high school students that introduce them to the trades, teach practical, real-world skills, and help develop the values needed to succeed in life and work.
I believe young people thrive when they’re given responsibility, hands-on experience, and adults who are willing to show up. That’s what this season of my life is about.
