Foundations
Foundations introduces high school students to skilled trades through free, hands-on workshops led by experienced professionals and mentors.
Explore tools, techniques, and possible careers. Build practical skills and confidence for work and everyday life, while practicing responsibility, persistence, goal setting, and a strong work ethic.
Topics you can explore include welding, plumbing, HVAC, automotive and small engines, equipment operation, and building projects.
Class sizes vary by workshop. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please cancel within 24 hours if you cannot attend a class so that those on the waiting list can participate.
A completed waiver is required before participating in any workshop. Registration reserves your spot, but participants may not join hands-on activities until a waiver is on file. If the participant is under 18, the waiver must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Complete Waiver
