About the Event
Operating Heavy Equipment
In this workshop we will kick things off be learning that the earth moving industry generates over $14.8 billion annually and moves roughly 2.3 billion cubic yards of material each year across the United States. Students will learn how to estimate yardage and calculate operating costs for different types of equipment and then finish with some hands-on excavator operation.
Success Principle: Respect
In this workshop we will explore the importance of respect - something that carries as much weight on a job site as any machine does. We discuss how respect builds trust, fuels leadership, and is earned (not demanded).
